Easter in Longview

It is the mann's turn for Easter. We made the trek down to longview and the kids couldn't wait to get there. Mommy on the other hand, wasn't feeling well. I ate some chicken that was questionable the day before, so I was pretty sure I was suffering from food poisining. Needless to say, we made it and mommy was happy to have the help.
Evan loved blowing bubbles, but loved that Blake and Marilyn were playing with him more.

Can't believe he is big enough to blow his own bubbles.

We went to an Easter event at the museum and Evan had a blast. He got to eat some yummy food (yes he had a donut), colored, decorated an egg, decorated a cupcake, and ate a cupcake. He enjoyed his special time with mommy, Nini and Marilyn.

Mommy look at these circles.

He wrote his name....

Guess he is worried someone will take his markers.

Silly faces.

Coloring his egg.

What a pretty egg!!

He decorated his cupcake.

A different cupcake to celebrate daddy's birthday.

That icing was delicious.

Margaret got a cupcake to celebrate daddy's 31st birthday.

This is what mommy ate. Ugh. Hoping my tummy feels better for Easter tomorrow.

Easter morning. Margaret wasn't  very into searching of eggs. The Easter bunny gave her a ball pit and she wasn't too thrilled with that either.

The basket the Easter bunny left Evan.

Margaret's Easter basket. Sorry it's blurry.

A tea set from the Easter bunny.

She did actually like this.

Looking through all of her goodies.

Cheese.

She loves candy.

Evan got a bunch of candy, a rescue bot, and a rescue bot station. I have the cutest video of him finding his rescue bot. He was very excited. "Mommy, it's just what I wanted. I love it!"

So these lolllipops, which were in a giant Spider-Man egg, will never be allowed in the hopper house again. Evan was eating one and some how managed to get the whole lollipop stuck in his throat. He wasn't breathing and I was panicking. I hit him on the back because it was just my gut reaction. Being certified in CPR, I would have thought I would know better. I guess it's time to go back. Anyway, He pulled the stick out of his mouth, coughed a bit, and then started crying. The poor guy was so scared. I don't think he'll want another lolllipop for a while.

Easter breakfast.

Pancakes that were suppose to look like a bunny.....

Happy boy.

Aunt Marilyn and Margaret before church.

Getting a picture of these two is never easy.

They are looking for Kobe the cat.

Evan and I going to flower the cross.

Daddy with Margaret. She didn't want to go.

Evan was so proud.

Trying to get a picture of all four is even tougher!

Lunch at the country club,

Who knows what he chose to eat.....

Margaret likes the Easter bunny as long as he doesn't move.

Sisters.

Just missing bobby!

She loved looking at the flowers.

Who wouldn't? Aren't they gorgeous!

After eating lunch, they were dying to run and play. Too bad we were about to pack up for a three hour car ride...

On your mark, get set, go!
