The nursery is complete?

Well, I think we can say the nursery is complete! Of course, as first time parents, I am sure there will be changes made, but for now we are very happy with the final product! Here are a few pictures:

35 Weeks!

I am very happy to have another week off of work. Unfortunately, it is not as fun when Mark has to go to work. We have a pretty busy week ahead of us though. Tuesday is our LAST birthing class. We are very happy that it is going to be over. No more breathing exercises!! Wednesday, we are having the Hoppers over for dinner. I am hoping to use my new kitchen-aid!! Thursday, we are going to have dinner with a bunch of the Mann clan. A nice post-Christmas celebration. All in all, it should be an exciting week.

Today I went to the doctor. I gained some more weight (I'll blame that on the fudge! Thanks mom!). Evan's heartbeat was still in the 149-152 range. My belly measurement was a little small, but the doctor said it is nothing to worry about. Hard to believe I would measure small because I feel a lot bigger! She said everything looked great and now I am at weekly appointments. Let the fun begin!! We actually get to see if Evan is getting ready to make his appearance. I'll have an update for everyone on Monday though I doubt this early in the game we will know much!

Me at 35 weeks! In my Christmas Pajamas, very comfy!!

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas and enjoying time with their family!

In one month, we should be welcoming little Evan into this world! 31 days.....

We also want to thank our family who has been so generous with Christmas presents and helping us really get ready for baby Evan! We appreciate it so much!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Week 34!

Only 40 days to go! It seems so close, but yet so far. I am glad that we will have some family time this week to get my mine off the fact that Mark and I will welcome our little guys in about a month! I am getting to the point where I am pretty uncomfortable. When we were at one of our classes the other day our instructor mentioned that when you feel like you can't get any bigger YOU WILL. Well that is how I feel. Thank goodness I have the next two weeks off to try and relax and get as much rest as possible.

Saturday, Mark and I went to a 3 hour breastfeeding class. It was semi-useful! I think we saw enough pictures of other women's breast to last a life time.....

Today, we went to visit the Hoppers in Arlington. We got a chance to celebrate an early Christmas with them!! We had a wonderful dinner and got to exchange presents. They were VERY generous and I got a stroller! I am so excited! We came straight home so that Mark could put it together.

Mark putting it together and Troy trying to eat it!

Lola was scared of the stroller...

The stroller! Great work Mark!!

Tuesday, we have our second birthing class. Another fabulous four hours of sitting there getting scared out of your mind. We can't wait!

I am sure I will have a lot of updates over the break because what else is there to do :)

34 weeks!

Week 33!

Well here we are at week 33. Hard to believe! I went to the doctor today. Everything looked good! Belly still measuring right on track...still gaining weight. I have another appointment in two weeks and then I am down to one week appointments. The doctor did confirm that I have been having some Braxton Hicks contractions, but she promises they are fine and just my bodies way of getting ready for labor. YIKES!

Also, Mark and I FINALLY started out birthing classes. We went to our first of three and it was pretty good. During the breathing exercises, Mark and I were a bunch of giggle boxes, but otherwise we learned a few things. Saturday, we have a breastfeeding class. What a way to start of a week off from work. Hopefully we will learn some helpful tips!

I can't tell you how excited I am to have a two week break starting this Friday. I know Mark is excited too because he took a week off as well!
