Park time

We had a great day at the park! Evan didn't hate the sand like he did last year, so that is a win. He also got to see the lake up close! We drive by it all the time and he loves it, but to be close to it was really neat!

Our story of the day was 'attack of the duck.' We were at the park with our friends and letting the boys run around. The boys ran toward the lake because they could see the ducks, when seriously out of no where, a HUGE duck come charging at us. His beak was up and wings out. This duck was seriously traveling at super speed. Evan was ahead of me and I swear the duck was going after the boys. I was wearing Margaret, so I could run, but I was scared to run at the duck (where Evan was) in fear that I would spook it more. So instead I yelled at Evan to stop, a low and behold, he listened. He wasn't scared at all. I get close enough to Evan to grab his hand and we climb the hill away from the evil duck. Meanwhile, this duck has slowed down, but is still following us! We think he was hungry and just wanted L's snack, but still.

Needless to say, we did have a great time playing at the park!!

The boy's running (and the evil duck in the corner).
