What a fun day! We started bright and early when Evan woke up at 6:30, showered, had breakfast, and headed out to the outlet mall. Well, the bad news is they don't open until 9. The good news is they had a playground, so Evan had fun exploring for an hour.
Once we were back at the condo, Evan went down for a long nap. I guess we wore him out at the playground. Mark and I were anxious to get him to the beach, so naturally, Evan took about a 2 hour nap. Finally, we get Evan ready and down to the beach. He played in the sand and then proceeded to eat it. We had some water on hand, but he ate a little more than a taste. The next thing we know Evan is throwing up sand. Talk about gross! I think Evan learned his lesson though because he did not eat any more sand.
After the beach, we went back to the kiddy pool. Still not a success. Off we went to the indoor pool and Evan still loved it. This time we brought his floaty and he was in heaven. He loved to be pushed from the indoor part to the outdoor. There was no one else in the pool, so Evan had it all to himself. He couldn't have been happier.
We came back up to the condo, had a snack and changed Evan's clothes. Around sunset, we took a nice walk on the beach. Daddy wore Evan on his back and Evan just looked around at everything. He was pointing at the birds and watch the waves crash. He seems to really enjoy the walk!
