The Hoppers: Half a year??

Really?? My baby girl is six months old today. That is just crazy! Well, we haven't been to the doctor for her 6 month check up, so I don't have any stats for you. BUT, I will share what she has been up to.

Margaret can officially army crawl or roll wherever she wants to go. She is really strong. She is thinner than Evan was at this stage and I think it is because she is crawling already. Margaret is always on the go. She wants someone or something to play with her. She loves when Evan plays with her.

Her favorite food is breast milk but she has tried sweet potatoes, banana, green beans, butternut squash, peas, and cheese. That last one was by accident. I was eating some and she grabbed it right out of my hand. She is just fine, so no harm no foul.

Margaret is finally sleeping pretty well. She loves to sleep on her side, so until she mastered rolling over sleeping was tough. She will sleep from 7-2 (eat), 4, then up at 7. We haven't quite figured out the 4 wake up, but we are hoping we can get rid of it soon enough. Overall, I am really happy with her sleep because she was getting up every two hours for a while. She is also in her crib and can put herself to sleep. We put her to bed awake for naps and bedtime. It took a while to get to this point, but I am glad we made it! Sleep is good!!!

Margaret is in size 2 diapers. She wears 9 month in anything that is loose and 12 month on things that are tight. Things are usually small because of her length. With Evan we were in big clothes because of his weight. It is fun to see the differences as they grow!

Margaret doesn't have any teeth, but I know at least one, maybe two, bottom teeth are coming in.

We had an awesome day with Grammy and Pops at the Dallas World Aquarium Evan loved all the animals and showing off his animal noises! His favorite part was hanging out with Grammy and Pops. He least favorite part was watching the shark getting fed. He loved the fish, ducks, and alligator!
