We made it to the pumpkin patch today. The weather was wonderful, but Evan was not. It was our fault. We thought Evan would take a nice 30 minute nap on the way to the pumpkin patch, but instead he took about a 5 minute nap as we were turning into the parking lot. He wasn't bad, but I think he would have had a lot more fun if he wasn't tired. We couldn't get any good pictures of him because he just wanted to be held. We did go through the hay maze. Evan seemed to really enjoy that. After the maze, Evan got to pick his very own pumpkin. He looked at them for a while then finally chose a very nice pumpkin. I can't wait to take Evan back next year when he will actually get to enjoy the activities they have to offer.
After the pumpkin patch, we went to Blue Goose. Evan had a bean burrito and loved it!! He has so much fun going out to eat now that he can enjoy the food! We came home and Evan finally got his nap that he was needing. Once he woke up from his nap, we went to the park. Troy came a long this time. Evan loved watching Troy walk by the stroller. He even got to see Troy go down the slide. Once we got home, we were playing with Evan. We had him standing up on one of his convertible toys. We decided to unlock the wheels on the toy to see what Evan would do. Well, low and behold, the little boy just walked across the entire room. He was zooming. I was shocked! He is going to be even more trouble soon. It was a great family day. We hope to end the day with a Rangers win!! Go Rangers!!
