Happy 1 month!!

Can you believe it? Margaret is 1 month old today!!

Just a little update...

I went to the grocery store TWICE with two kids. The first time was an epic fail, but the second time was wonderful. I just have to wear Margaret to keep her happy! I have found that Margaret is very lovey and just wants to be held ALL THE TIME. The good news is we have a Moby, so I can still do other things while holding her. Evan is just his typical ball of fire. He tries to love on his sister, but is just too rough. We are really working on being gentle. Otherwise, life is chaotic, but we are enjoying every minute of it!

Two week well visit

So I am only a week late, but Margaret's two week well visit went well. She is up to eight pounds! I can't believe she has gained so much weight. She was down to 6.11, so that's a lot of weight to gain in two weeks.  Otherwise, things are going pretty well. Thankfully, I have had tons of help around the house. Tomorrow will be my first full day alone with both. Wish me luck!

Interesting day...

We had an interesting day. One of my mom friends was nice enough to bring us dinner. She came over in the morning to deliver it and let the boys play a little bit. We were in Evan's play room watching the boys play and heard a really weird noise. Didn't really think too much of it, but then Mark comes in a says, "Umm, I think your car might of been hit." We go to look and sure enough some one had slammed into the back of her car. The damage was ridiculous. This 'boy' had to be going pretty fast to cause that kind of damage. It scares me because Evan loves to play in the front yard. Anyway, the cops came out (three of them) and everything was taken care of. We are all just so glad no one was seriously hurt. It could have been so much worse. The kicker is that the 'boy' was texting and that is why he didn't see her car. So sad. Doesn't everyone know not to text and drive!!!!

Happy 20 months/ Happy 1 week!

Happy 20 months to my favorite little guy. I am so proud of him and what a great big brother he has become. He loves to check on Margaret and give her kisses. What a sweet brother. It is also Margaret's happy one week. She has been doing great. Eating about every three hours and sleeping most of the day away. I can't wait for her two week appointment to see how much she has grown.
