Happy 2nd birthday, Evan!!

Wow! I can't believe that my little baby boy is two years old. Where has the time gone? He is growing up into such a loving and wonderful boy! He loves everyone so much. Loves to give hugs and blow kisses! Evan is also a goofy character. He loves to show off his shocked face, strong man, and squint man. He throw his head back when he giggles. His language is impressive and he is starting to share his toys. I am so proud of him and just pray that God continues to bless his life.

Evan had a blast at his construction party. He loved seeing all of his friends that could make it! Evan did great at opening his gift and loved every single one of them. Thanks!! His favorite right now is the house that his grandparents gave him. He spent all day in it. I am just glad the weather is nice, so he can play in it.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the party. It really means a lot to get to share Evan's special day with people we care about. Also, a special thanks to my parents and Mark's parents for helping out. With out them there is no way I would have been able to throw Evan such a great party!

We are truly blessed!

Happy 4 months!!

I can not believe my baby is four months old. Where has the time gone? She is growing so fast. Soon enough she will probably be crawling. Margaret has started to giggle. She, of course, smiles all the time to show off her dimples. She is just such a happy baby. She loves to talk and will just coo all day. Margaret really likes Evan because he will bring her toys and he talks to her. I really hope they grow up to love each dearly! Watching them interact just melts my heart!

Evan is about to be 2 which is hard to believe. He loves trucks, airplanes, and trains. I guess he is your typical boy! He is also learning about a new word every day. He can now say: cubby, skully, izzy, captain hook, pirates (can you tell what show he loves?), oso, shoes, hat, off, up, yesss, no, popcorn, milk, goal, and I am sure there a more I can't think of. My favorite part about his language building is that he puts words together. 'Mama more milk,' 'Gaga help (when Margaret is crying)', 'Dada downstairs,' and so one. He is one busy boy that I just try to keep up with!

Fun times!

We took Evan and Margaret to Coo Coo's, a local bounce house place. Evan was not a fan. I can see how as a toddler these huge bounce areas might look scary, but I thought with daddy along he would go right in. I think we are going to try again in a few weeks, so I hope he likes it then. Meanwhile, Margaret is growing leaps and bounds. She can hold her head up off the ground for a really long time. She plays with toys and will move them from hand to hand. Of course, she also loves to chew on toys. She can't sit up or roll over yet, but I have a feeling it will happen soon!

Happy New Year!

Alright, so I am only a month late, but better late than never! We had an eventful new year at home. We have some sparklers left over from our wedding and light them every new year. Well Evan loved to watch them burn and he knew not to touch them, but of course in a blink of an eye he grabbed one that had burned out and burned his little hand. We felt like the worlds worst parents. Thankfully it was VERY minor, but it doesn't make it any easier to watch your child cry in pain. So after that we were more than happy to ring in a new year. I actually stayed up until midnight. Sad, but I was very proud of myself.

Some extra Christmas pictures!!

Evan was very proud of his stacking ability!!
