Happy New Year!!

Happy, Happy New Year!!! We have been so blessed to have almost a year of a super cute, extremely healthy, pretty much perfect son! (Yes, we are biased!) I could not have asked for more! I can't imagine what 2012 can possible bring ;) ! I can only hope that it is just as good as 2011! I hope you all have an extremely blessed new year!! 

Good news: It looks like Evan can have shellfish! He loved crab! Of course we didn't give him a whole crab leg (as pictured), but I had to capture the 'crab' that he ate! 

Play date success!

Well, I hosted my first 'official' play date!! It went wonderful! Evan loved playing with his friends!!

Here is the recipe for the dip I made:

• 1/2 cup mayo
• 1/8 cup buttermilk
• 1/8 cup chopped jalapeno
• 1 (1/2 ounce) packet dry ranch dressing mix 

Mix ingredients in blender or food processor, until smooth. Serve with tortilla chips, or as a salad dressing.

I just do my dip to taste. Some like it saltier and some like spicier. After a few tries it is yummy and easy to make!!

Happy 11 Months!

Happy 11 months to my precious son! It is so hard to believe my next monthly post he will be a year old. I mean seriously, where has the time gone? Mark and I have had a wonderful few days hanging out with the little dude. It is so nice to have this quality time together. Sadly, Mark has to go back to work tomorrow and I am sure Evan will miss having his daddy around. The good news is we have Gymboree and 'aunt' Mandy coming over to keep him sidetracked!! We love you, Evan!!
